MyTutorBridge is a platform designed to allow students who want to get ahead in their classes to connect with student tutors who can help teach and reinforce concepts outside of the classroom. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, not all students can attend school in person. Even for those who do attend school, however, only receive two days of in-person instruction per week. This lack of in-person instruction can make it difficult for students to stay ahead in all their classes. Oftentimes, despite class time and office hours, students need additional time and assistance outside of the classroom to process the content being covered in class. MyTutorBridge allows students, regardless of where they are learning from, to get the help they need in the classes where they need it most. Through the MyTutorBridge Portal, students can schedule sessions and connect with peer tutors. In exchange, these peer tutors can earn volunteer hours towards their club requirements. Students who want to help their peers can sign up as student tutors at anytime. MyTutorBridge is intended to bridge the gap that has been created between students and their ability to receive five days of in-person instruction, as well as to provide students with the additional resources they may need outside of the classroom, regardless of where they are.
